As the New York Knicks emerged victorious in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers, a roar of "MVP" chants filled Wells Fargo Center. Knicks fans had traveled in droves from Madison Square Garden to support their team, and they were rewarded with a 47-point performance from Brunson, pushing the series to 3-1 in favor of the Knicks.

However, the victory was not without its sour notes. A contingent of Knicks fans lingered in the lobby of Wells Fargo Center after the game, chanting "F--- Embiid," referring to the 76ers' reigning MVP.

Embiid, clearly frustrated by the Knicks' overwhelming fan presence, expressed his disappointment to reporters after the loss. "Disappointing. I love our fans," Embiid said. "I think it's unfortunate, and I'm not calling them out, but it is disappointing. Obviously, you got a lot of Knicks fans, and they're down the road, and I've never seen it, and I've been here for 10 years."

The large number of Knicks fans cheering their team on was not lost on Brunson. "This Philadelphia fan base – I've said this before – is very relentless, very passionate. I'm an Eagles fan, I would know. Seeing the Knicks here, hearing the Knicks here was pretty cool, and it's awesome," Brunson said.

Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein echoed Brunson's sentiments, comparing the atmosphere to that of European fan bases. "The fans are special," Hartenstein said. "It's probably the closest you'll ever get to European fans."

Despite Embiid's 27 points and 10 rebounds, including 10 points in the first quarter, the Knicks were able to battle back and take advantage of Brunson's brilliance. OG Anunoby contributed 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Miles "Deuce" McBride came off the bench to add 13 points.

As the series shifts back to Madison Square Garden for Game 5, the Knicks will have the home crowd advantage behind them. Embiid and the 76ers will need to find a way to silence the Knicks fans and prevent New York from closing out the series in their own backyard.

The Knicks' strong fan presence in Philadelphia is a testament to the passion and dedication of their supporters. Despite playing in enemy territory, the Knicks fans made their voices heard and helped create an atmosphere that fueled the team's victory.
