Following in the footsteps of Super Bowl champions, Slam Dunk Contest winners, and NCAA women's basketball champions, the LSU women's gymnastics team has become the latest group of athletes to celebrate their victory at Raising Cane's. Olivia Dunne, the team's star gymnast and rising social media sensation, worked the drive-thru alongside her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitching prospect Paul Skenes.
The Raising Cane's drive-thru has become a popular destination for athletes to celebrate their victories. In the past year, Super Bowl champions Mecole Hardman and L'Jarius Sneed, Slam Dunk Contest winner Mac McClung, and NCAA women's basketball champions South Carolina Gamecocks have all worked the line at the fast-food restaurant.
Now, the LSU women's gymnastics team has joined the list. The Tigers won their first NCAA title in program history on Saturday, and Dunne and her boyfriend, Skenes, celebrated by working the drive-thru at a Raising Cane's in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dunne, a sophomore gymnast and one of the most followed athletes on social media, was joined by her teammates and coaches at the restaurant. They greeted customers, took orders, and handed out food to the long line of fans who came out to celebrate their victory.
Skenes, a 21-year-old right-handed pitcher, is a rising prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He was drafted in the first round of the 2022 MLB Draft and is considered one of the top pitching prospects in baseball.
Dunne and Skenes have been dating for over a year and are both LSU students. They have become one of the most popular couples in college sports and have a combined social media following of over 10 million followers.
The couple's appearance at Raising Cane's was a fitting way to celebrate their victory. The restaurant is a popular destination for LSU students and athletes and has become a symbol of the university's success.
Dunne and her teammates were greeted with cheers and applause from fans as they worked the drive-thru. They signed autographs, took pictures, and thanked their supporters for their encouragement.
The celebration at Raising Cane's was a reminder of the power of LSU athletics. The university has a long history of success in both football and basketball, and its gymnastics team has now joined the ranks of the elite.
Dunne and her teammates have set a high standard for LSU gymnastics and are poised to continue their success in the years to come. Their celebration at Raising Cane's was a fitting tribute to their hard work and dedication.
