Marvel Snap's July Update: Deadpool Takes Over, Alliances Arrive, and More

Marvel Snap's upcoming July update brings Deadpool to the forefront, introduces new Alliance features, and teases a new game mode.

The Merc with a Mouth is coming to Marvel Snap in July! Deadpool will take over the game's Season Pass, bringing with him a new game mode, Deadpool's Diner, where players can wager Bubs to earn rewards. Throughout the month-long event, players will be able to turn their competitors into Deadpool's favorite snack, chimichangas.

The Deadpool season arrives ahead of the theatrical release of Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine, further cementing the fourth-wall-breaking character's presence in the Marvel universe.

Previously known as Clans, Alliances will make their official debut in Marvel Snap on July 30th. Alliances allow players to join forces, complete Bounties, chat with other members, and earn prizes. Alliance rewards are distributed at the end of each week, and future updates will introduce additional features, including Alliance Competitions.

Limited-time events called Leagues provide players with an opportunity to compete against 29 other players within their skill range. Players can climb the leaderboard to earn prizes, and those willing to pay can purchase Premium League access for even greater rewards.

Marvel Snap is currently prototyping a new game mode called Draft Mode. While details are scarce at this time, Draft Mode promises to deliver a classic card game mechanic to the mix.

In addition to the major updates, Marvel Snap will receive several quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes in the July update. These include a new Achievement system, visual improvements, and various gameplay tweaks.
