Country music star Miranda Lambert has established a no-fighting zone during her performances of "Tin Man," while giving fans ample opportunities to settle scores during five other designated songs.
Country music icon Miranda Lambert has established a clear set of rules for fans attending her concerts: if you're looking to engage in physical altercations, choose one of five specifically designated "fight songs." However, there's one sacred track that remains off-limits for brawls - the poignant ballad "Tin Man."
In a tongue-in-cheek Instagram video posted on Tuesday, Lambert humorously addressed the issue of fan-on-fan violence during her shows. "If you want to fight at my concerts, give 'em hell," said the 40-year-old singer, deadpanning. "I've got five songs for you: 'Fastest Girl in Town,' 'Kerosene,' 'Little Red Wagon,' 'Wranglers,' and 'Gunpowder & Lead.'"

Lambert's witty response follows a recent incident in Texas, where a video emerged of the "If I Was a Cowboy" singer responding to a brawl that erupted while she was performing "Tin Man." Her swift intervention included checking if anyone had fainted or passed out and warning the combatants, "We're not doing that today. I'm going to go East Texas on you're a-- real quick!"
The country star's decision to call out fans for taking selfies during "Tin Man" during her Las Vegas residency last year sparked controversy. Lambert paused the performance to express her disapproval, saying, "I'm gonna stop right here for a second. ... These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It's ping me off a little bit."

While some fans felt Lambert's criticism extended beyond those causing trouble, her recent post has garnered widespread support. "This is the best," commented one fan. "Have some respect for Tin Man people. Also no fighting during vice either. Lol." Another agreed, "Tin Man is sacred," while a third joked, "the fights are scheduled into the set now lol."
Lambert's stance on fan behavior reflects a growing trend among artists seeking to maintain a respectful and immersive experience during their performances. As social media use becomes more prevalent, performers grapple with finding a balance between audience engagement and distraction.

Lambert's playful approach to the issue of misconduct demonstrates her commitment to creating a positive and engaging environment for her fans. By designating specific "fight songs," she acknowledges the need for fans to let off steam while preserving the sanctity of certain songs.
In the end, Lambert's message is clear: her concerts are a place where music takes precedence. While she welcomes fans to express themselves and have a good time, physical altercations and excessive selfie-taking will not be tolerated.
