MSNBC analyst David Jolly has launched a scathing attack on presidential candidate RFK Jr., branding him a "vaccine denier" and a "MAGA-crazy Republican" whose candidacy will ultimately harm Republicans in the 2024 election.
MSNBC analyst David Jolly has unleashed a barrage of criticism against presidential candidate RFK Jr., accusing him of being a "vaccine denier" and a "MAGA-crazy Republican" who will ultimately hurt his own party's chances in the 2024 election.
"I still think RFK Jr. can take more from Republicans," said Jolly, a former representative from Florida. "I think that is why Trump is attacking him."
Jolly's comments came during an appearance on MSNBC's Saturday programming, where he elaborated on his belief that RFK Jr.'s candidacy will have a negative impact on the Republican party.
"He is a MAGA-crazy Republican, he is a vaccine denier," Jolly continued. "He denies science. He flip-flops on the issue of abortion, and even his own VP candidate can't keep up with where he is day to day on the most important issue going into November."
RFK Jr., the son of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, has become a controversial figure in recent weeks due to his outspoken views on various issues, including his opposition to COVID-19 vaccines and his evolving stance on abortion.
Jolly's attack on RFK Jr. comes amid growing scrutiny of the candidate's controversial statements and beliefs. Former President Donald Trump recently released a video on his social media platform, Truth Social, in which he denounced RFK Jr.'s candidacy and accused him of being a "radical left" who would "take over" the country and "die very quickly."
RFK Jr. has also been criticized by both conservative and liberal commentators for his remarks on abortion. In a recent interview, he stated that he supports abortion "even if it's full term," drawing condemnation from anti-abortion advocates.
Despite the criticism, RFK Jr. has defended his views, saying that he is simply presenting a different perspective on important issues. His campaign has not responded to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
While the extent of RFK Jr.'s potential impact on the 2024 election remains uncertain, Jolly's comments highlight the growing concerns within the Republican party about the viability of his candidacy and its potential to damage their chances of victory.
