Former NBA coach George Karl will be hosting a "Hoops for Harris" Zoom call this Wednesday, featuring several prominent basketball figures, including Mark Cuban, Eddie Johnson, and Rex Chapman. Karl has previously endorsed Democratic nominee Tim Walz, citing issues such as the environment, abortion rights, and voter protection.
Karl announced his support for Walz in a Twitter post on Monday night, stating, "I keep getting asked why I support Harris-Walz. It's because of the environment, abortion and women's rights, voter protection, and helping provide college to all who want it. Mostly I want to evolve who we are. I'm tired of standing still and protecting power and wealth."

However, his playoff record stands at 80-105, with only one NBA Finals appearance with the 1995-96 Seattle SuperSonics, who were defeated by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
Steve Kerr, who was unable to attend the Zoom call, expressed his support for the mission and his excitement to be part of the team.
