Amid reports of confusion surrounding a meeting with President Biden, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly called on the administration to resume weapons supplies, expressing concerns over the withholding of military support.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meeting with President Joe Biden on Thursday will come amidst uncertainty and confusion that plagued the initial scheduling of the event.
Earlier reports indicated that Netanyahu's team was unsure if the meeting, which was initially scheduled for Tuesday, would take place. An Israeli official revealed that Netanyahu was "waiting for an answer" from the White House on the matter.

The White House has also confirmed that Vice President Kamala Harris will meet with Netanyahu during this week.
Netanyahu is scheduled to address Congress on Wednesday, despite Vice President Harris reportedly declining to preside over the address.
Prior to departing for Washington, D.C., Netanyahu reiterated Israel's unwavering support for the United States.
"In this time of war and uncertainty, it's important that Israel's enemies know that America and Israel stand together," he stated.
Netanyahu also requested a meeting with former President Donald Trump, but it is unclear if Trump will agree to the request.
The uncertainty surrounding the meeting between Netanyahu and Biden, the timing of the visit coinciding with Biden's withdrawal from the presidential race and subsequent COVID-19 diagnosis, and Netanyahu's demands for weapons supply have created a complex and fluid diplomatic situation.
Observers will closely follow the developments and outcomes of these high-level meetings as they impact the relationship between the United States and Israel.
