Fallan Turner, a 43-year-old resident of Wildwood Crest, was apprehended on Monday afternoon following a disturbance reported at a motel along Ocean Avenue. Witnesses informed responding officers that Turner, who appeared highly intoxicated, was exhibiting erratic behavior in the swimming pool.

Upon investigation, officers discovered that Turner had physically assaulted a 10-year-old boy by swinging him violently in the water and submerging his head. When the child's father intervened, Turner allegedly jumped on his back and engaged in inappropriate physical contact.

As officers approached Turner to detain her, she resisted arrest by shoving an officer in the face. During the arrest process, she continued to resist, ultimately biting the hand of an officer.

Authorities confirmed that neither officer who encountered Turner sustained significant injuries.
