Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich claims that undecided voters overwhelmingly believe Vice President Kamala Harris is more radical than Donald Trump and view her as the "candidate of the past."

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has asserted that most undecided voters perceive Vice President Kamala Harris as far more extreme than former President Donald Trump. According to Gingrich, these voters believe Harris represents the "past" while Trump embodies "change."

"In the recent interviews, for example, with undecided voters, overwhelmingly they believe she's much more radical than Donald Trump," Gingrich stated on Fox News' "Hannity."

Gingrich's comments come amid a flurry of media appearances by Harris, which have drawn mixed reactions. Some observers have praised Harris's eloquence and passion, while others have criticized her for a lack of clarity and substance.

Gingrich specifically criticized Harris's recent interview with the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) in Philadelphia. He described it as a "joke" and said Harris's comments on the Israel-Hamas conflict were "insane."

"She talks about we have to get to a truce in Gaza and release the hostages. Now, there are two problems," Gingrich explained. "The first is she is the vice president. They've had 11 months to get to this truce. 11 months. They've gotten nowhere."

Gingrich also questioned Harris's credibility in dealing with Hamas, given the militant group's stated goal of eliminating the state of Israel.

"The founding constitution of Hamas says not a single Jew will remain," Gingrich emphasized. "And when people chant 'from the river to the sea,' they're chanting genocide fully as much as the Nazi Germans were about Jews in Europe."

Gingrich concluded by expressing concern that Harris's "word salad" interviews would damage her reputation and hinder her ability to win over undecided voters.

Harris has faced criticism from her own party for her handling of various issues, including the ongoing crisis at the southern border and the botched withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.

In terms of her campaign strategy, Harris has opted for a limited number of media appearances, focusing primarily on traditional outlets such as NABJ and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.

Despite her limited exposure, Harris remains a polarizing figure. Some polls suggest that her favorability ratings have declined since taking office, while others show that she retains a solid base of support among Democratic voters.

As the midterm elections approach, it remains to be seen whether Harris will be able to sway undecided voters and consolidate her party's support. Her performance in upcoming interviews and public appearances will likely play a crucial role in shaping her political future.
