Minaj alleged that the officials claimed to have found weed and required another group of individuals to weigh the pre-rolls. She further stated that her security had already advised the officers that the pre-rolls belonged to him.

Minaj expressed her apologies to fans for missing her concert in Manchester, explaining that her flight was delayed after her detention. She promised to reschedule the show and offer an "added bonus" to ticketholders.

"So they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight. I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them & posting everything in real time. I have sooooooooo much video evidence. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. I’ll have the lawyers & GOD take it from here tho," she wrote on Instagram.

The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee confirmed Minaj's arrest in a statement, stating that they arrested a 41-year-old American woman on suspicion of exporting soft drugs. After consultation with the Public Prosecution Service, the suspect was fined and allowed to continue her journey.

Representatives for Minaj and Amsterdam police have not yet commented on the incident. However, the singer has indicated that she intends to pursue legal action.
