The incident occurred around 5 a.m. on May 1st on East 152nd Street and 3rd Avenue in the Bronx. The victim, a 45-year-old woman, was followed by the suspect, who then placed a belt around her neck, causing her to lose consciousness.
The suspect then dragged the victim between two parked cars and sexually assaulted her on the street before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The NYPD's Special Victims Unit is investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a black mask.
