A man in Ohio has been arrested for allegedly breaking into several stores, including a pet store. Police later found the suspect with two hamsters hidden inside his leopard print onesie. The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Matthew Pancake, is facing charges of breaking and entering and vandalism.

Matthew Pancake, 31, is accused of breaking into the Roosters restaurant near Hilliard, Ohio, just after 3 a.m. after triggering the establishment's security system. Responding officers followed the suspect's trail and later discovered a broken-in Petland pet store.
Surveillance footage from Petland revealed that several glass windows from dog cages had been smashed. The owner of the store informed authorities that the suspect, believed to be Pancake, had released 15 animals from their cages before fleeing.

Shortly after 4 a.m., officers were alerted to another break-in at a nearby Famous Footwear shoe store. Pancake allegedly stole a pair of boots from the store, leaving a trail of knocked-down boxes in his wake.
A 911 caller reported seeing the suspect sleeping on a bench while wearing leopard print clothing. Officers responded and apprehended Pancake, who fit the caller's description.

During a search of Pancake's clothing, officers discovered shards of glass and a dog collar on his person. To their astonishment, they also found hamsters concealed in his pants.
"Yeah, definitely animal abuse," one officer remarked.

An additional officer inquired whether Pancake had any other animals hidden within his body for his safety. However, no response was provided.
Pancake was taken to the Franklin County Jail and booked on charges of breaking and entering and vandalism. His court appearance is scheduled for July 19.
The incident has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of the animals involved. The hamsters were taken into custody and are currently being cared for.
The strange and disturbing nature of the incident has sparked outrage and disbelief among members of the community. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the break-ins and animal cruelty allegations.
