Missy Franklin and Simone Biles, two of the most decorated American Olympians, share their expectations and preparations for the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris.
Five-time gold medalist Missy Franklin believes that Katie Ledecky's dominance in the pool will continue at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Franklin, who retired from competitive swimming in 2018, watched Ledecky's record-breaking performance at the recent U.S. Olympic Trials with admiration.
"I think she's only going to get better," Franklin told Fox News Digital. "She's so young and so talented. I think she's going to continue to break records and be a force to be reckoned with."

Ledecky, who has won 10 Olympic medals, including seven golds, is set to compete in the 200-meter freestyle, 400-meter freestyle, 800-meter freestyle, and 1500-meter freestyle in Paris. Franklin believes that Ledecky will be the favorite to win all four events.
"She's the best in the world at what she does," Franklin said. "I think she's going to go out there and prove it again in Paris."

In addition to Ledecky, Franklin also praised her former teammate Simone Biles for her resilience and determination to return to the Olympics after withdrawing from several events in Tokyo due to mental health concerns.
"I'm so proud of Simone," Franklin said. "She's been through a lot, but she's come out stronger on the other side. I think she's going to be a force to be reckoned with in Paris."

Biles, who has won 32 Olympic and World Championship medals, is set to compete in the all-around, vault, floor exercise, and balance beam in Paris. She is the defending champion in the all-around and floor exercise.
"I think she's going to go out there and prove that she's still the best in the world," Franklin said. "I can't wait to watch her."
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. Franklin and Biles will be among the most watched athletes in the Games.
