"I'm focused on what I can control," Young told Fox News Digital. "I'm working hard to get better every day, and I'm confident that we can turn things around next season."

Young, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, showed flashes of his potential in his rookie season. He threw for 2,526 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

But Young also struggled with consistency, and he made some costly mistakes down the stretch.

The Panthers are hoping that Young will take a big step forward in his second season. They have surrounded him with some talented playmakers, including wide receivers DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson, and running back Christian McCaffrey.

The Panthers also have a new head coach in Frank Reich, who is known for his offensive prowess.

Young is excited to work with Reich and the rest of the Panthers' coaching staff.

"I think Coach Reich is a great coach," Young said. "He's a very smart guy, and he knows how to get the most out of his players. I'm looking forward to learning from him and helping this team win."

The Panthers have a lot of work to do if they want to compete for a playoff spot in 2024. But Young is confident that the team has the potential to be successful.

"I believe in this team," Young said. "We have a lot of talent, and we're all working hard to get better. I think we can surprise some people next season."

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble was knocked out of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears after colliding with safety Jaquan Brisker.

Tremble caught a pass from quarterback Andy Dalton and began to run up the field when he was met by Brisker. The safety lowered his shoulder and Tremble lowered his head. The two collided and the tight end went down. The ball came loose and the Bears recovered.

Tremble didn’t return in the first half. Chicago scored on its next drive to take a 21-7 lead. Caleb Williams later threw a touchdown pass in the latter stages of the second quarter. Chicago had a 27-7 lead at the half.

He had one catch for seven yards in the game.

The fourth-year tight end was a third-round pick out of Notre Dame by the Panthers. Going into the game, he had six catches on seven targets for 52 yards in three games.

Over his career, Tremble has 68 catches for 600 yards and seven touchdowns. He played in 52 games.

Brisker has emerged as a key defensive back for the Bears. Chicago was eighth in points allowed and 10th in yards allowed through the first four weeks of the season and Brisker has been one of the reasons why.

He has 35 tackles and one interception in four games this season.
