Prince William visited England's soccer team at St. George's Park and shared some amusing advice from his children, including the youngest, Prince Louis.
Prince William, a devoted supporter of soccer in England, shared some adorable advice from his children for the England soccer team as they prepare for the upcoming EURO 2024 tournament in Germany.
During his visit to St. George's Park in Burton upon Trent, Prince William met with the team and conveyed the amusing advice he had received from his young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
"I was on the school run this morning with the children, and I said, 'What should I say to the England team when I see them today?' The best bit of advice I got was to eat twice the amount you normally would eat," Prince William shared with the team, sparking laughter among the players.
The Prince continued his light-hearted comments, "So, I now have visions of you running around with massive great tummies and loads of stitches on the pitch. So I think take my youngest's advice with a pinch of salt, particularly around the physio team."
Prince William emphasized the significance of the team's efforts, offering words of encouragement and support. "I just want you guys to know how much it means to everyone back here that you go out there, give it your all, play for the shirt [team], play for each other, play for the country because everyone's behind you," he said.
After sharing his children's humorous advice, Prince William presented shirts to the team, representing England, and took the time to meet with some of the local children participating in an informal tournament, showcasing their soccer talents.
Prince William's visit further demonstrates his active involvement in supporting soccer in the country. As the president of The Football Association (The FA), the governing body of soccer in England, since 2006, he has consistently shown his dedication to the sport.
In March, Prince William made his first personal social media post since the announcement of Kate Middleton's cancer treatment to congratulate Rachel Daly, a star player on England's national soccer team, for her international retirement. His message highlighted the team's achievements.
Later in April, Prince William made his first public appearance since his wife's health news became public at an Aston Villa game alongside his son, Prince George. His attendance at the game further подчеркивает his support for soccer and the team.
