Pro Football Hall of Famer Larry Allen, a stalwart guard who played the majority of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, has passed away suddenly at the age of 52, the team announced on Monday.
"The Dallas Cowboys are very saddened to share that Cowboys legend, Super Bowl Champion, Cowboys Ring of Honor member, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Larry Allen passed away suddenly while on vacation in Mexico with his family on Sunday," the team said in a statement.
Allen, renowned for his extraordinary athleticism and immense strength, was widely regarded as one of the most respected and accomplished offensive linemen to ever grace the NFL. His versatility and unwavering dependability were hallmarks of his distinguished career.
