Loyola Chicago will make the trek to East Lansing, Michigan on Monday, November 28th to take on the No. 5 Michigan State Spartans in a highly anticipated non-conference matchup. This will be the first meeting between the two schools in 14 years, and the seventh overall.

Loyola Chicago, fresh off a 74-69 victory over Drake, will face their toughest test of the season when they travel to the Breslin Center to take on the No. 5 Michigan State Spartans. The Ramblers, who are 4-2 on the season, will be looking to make a statement against one of the top teams in the country.

Michigan State, meanwhile, is 5-2 on the season, with their only losses coming to No. 1 Duke and No. 2 Gonzaga. The Spartans are led by a trio of talented guards in Cassius Winston, Joshua Langford, and Gabe Brown.

The last time these two teams met was in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, with Michigan State winning 62-58. Loyola Chicago will be looking to avenge that loss and prove that they are a team to be reckoned with.

The Ramblers will need to play their best game of the season if they want to have a chance against the Spartans. They will need to be efficient on offense and lock down Michigan State's potent attack.

Loyola Chicago has a talented team led by senior guard Marques Townes and junior forward Cameron Krutwig. Townes is averaging 18.7 points per game, while Krutwig is averaging 14.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.

The Ramblers will also need to get contributions from their supporting cast if they want to win. Sophomore guard Lucas Williamson is averaging 10.3 points per game, while junior forward Cooper Kaifes is averaging 9.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

The game will be a tough test for Loyola Chicago, but it is also a great opportunity for the Ramblers to show the country what they are capable of. If they can pull off the upset, it would be a major statement for the program.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 at 7:00 PM CST.
