Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy has voiced dissatisfaction with the treatment he received from the Kansas City Chiefs' medical staff after suffering an injury in last Thursday's game.

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy has been outspoken in his criticism of the Kansas City Chiefs' medical staff following his fractured orbital bone injury sustained in the Ravens' Week 1 loss.

Van Noy, who joined the Ravens in 2023, expressed his frustration in the latest episode of his podcast, "McCoy & Van Noy," hosted with Gerald McCoy. He criticized the Chiefs' staff for what he perceived as unprofessional conduct.

"To me, I just feel like, as a player, people have that expectation of you being professional, handling business," Van Noy said on the podcast. "And in a time of need, I wanted that from them, and I felt like I didn't get it."

Van Noy's experience raised questions about whether his treatment was influenced by his affiliation with the Ravens. "Because then you get into, like, 'Did they take their time because I'm a Ravens player? Blah-blah-blah-blah-blah.' Those are just the thoughts that go into it," he explained.

While Van Noy acknowledged that he did not anticipate an apology from the Chiefs, he expressed his disappointment. "I experienced it," he said.

The Chiefs have not yet responded to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Van Noy's criticism aligns with the NFLPA survey results released in August, which revealed that the Chiefs and Washington Commanders received an "F" rating for their training rooms from players.

Van Noy, a two-time Super Bowl champion, joined the Ravens last year. In his first season with the team, he recorded 30 tackles and two forced fumbles in 14 games.

The incident highlights the importance of proper medical treatment for athletes, particularly in high-impact sports like football. Players rely on training staff to provide timely and effective care to ensure their safety and minimize long-term consequences of injuries.

The Ravens are scheduled to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 2 of the regular season, while the Chiefs will take on the Los Angeles Chargers. Van Noy's injury is expected to sideline him for some time, but his comments have raised concerns about the quality of medical care available to players in the NFL.
