Bluepoch Games has released the first phase of version 1.6 for Reverse: 1999, bringing a slew of new content and a six-month anniversary celebration to the strategic time-travelling RPG. The update introduces a new limited-time 6-star character, Jiu Niangzi, a new game mode, The Three Doors, and expands the in-game lore through the Notes on Shuori story event.

She is accompanied by the 5-star Yinsei, who will be available alongside Jiu Niangzi in the Dushuo Festival Limited Banner. Version 1.6 introduces a groundbreaking new game mode, bringing roguelike gameplay to Reverse: 1999 for the first time. Available from June 8th to July 11th, this mode challenges players to devise cunning strategies while navigating random events with the enigmatic investigator, XXXXX.
