Players will embark on a journey to East Asia, encountering new arcanists and embarking on challenging missions.
Reverse: 1999 Notes on Shuori Update: A Journey into Ancient China
Six months after its initial release, Reverse: 1999 is poised for a substantial update that will introduce a plethora of new content and in-game events. Update 1.6 Notes on Shuori takes players back to the Orient, offering a unique blend of Eastern mysticism and historical authenticity.
The update introduces two new arcanists: the six-star Jiu Niangzi and the five-star Yenisei. Players can recruit these powerful characters to bolster their teams and embark on new adventures.
Additionally, a roguelike game mode called Echoes in the Mountain adds a fresh layer of challenge to Reverse: 1999. Players can take their regular team into a procedurally generated mission that branches off into different paths, offering a highly replayable and rewarding experience.
Unlike previous expansions that ventured into exotic locales like Greece and Australia, Notes on Shuori takes the series to a more familiar setting: historic China. However, this interpretation of China is rendered with a realistic and less fantastical aesthetic, providing a unique and immersive gameplay experience.
In addition to the in-game content, Reverse: 1999 is hosting various promotions on social media to celebrate its six-month anniversary. Fans can participate in these events to earn free rewards, including exclusive bonuses and character skins.
