Recalling the serendipitous encounter, Starr shared with Fox News Digital, "I met [Burnett] [when] Olivia Harrison was reading poems for George. There was about 100 of us there listening, and he was one of them, and I bumped into him [off and on] since the '70s."

Intrigued by Burnett's exceptional songwriting, Starr approached him with his desire to delve into country music. Impressed by the initial song collaboration, Starr was emboldened to expand his country repertoire. "I met him [when] Olivia Harrison was reading poems for George. There was about 100 of us there listening, and he was one of them, and I bumped into him [off and on] since the '70s," Starr recalled.

Burnett, himself a Grammy-winning country icon, heaped praise on Starr's vocal abilities. "He's such a beautiful singer," Burnett remarked. "Ringo was in a band with two of the best singers in rock ‘n’ roll history, so people never took him as seriously as a singer as they should."

Starr's foray into country music is not entirely uncharted territory. In 1970, he released "Beaucoups of Blues," a solo album infused with country and western influences. However, this upcoming project marks a dedicated embrace of the genre, showcasing Starr's versatility as an artist.

This musical transformation coincides with Starr's enduring legacy as a peace advocate. At his annual birthday celebration, he expressed optimism for global progress towards harmony. "If we get one more person today from last year, we're building up," Starr said. "And we're getting a lot more than one, I'll tell you that."

Starr's longevity and resilience are evident in both his personal life and artistic endeavors. He cherishes his enduring friendship with fellow Beatle Paul McCartney, describing their bond as "brotherly." Their camaraderie extends beyond nostalgia, as they continue to share life experiences.

"Paul and I will have dinner together; we're still buddies," Starr revealed. "George (Harrison) and John, I certainly miss them. I'm an only child, and suddenly I had three brothers, and it was great."

Despite the passage of time and the loss of his bandmates, Starr remains connected to their shared legacy. "If he comes to LA, we certainly do something. And when I get to England, we'll do something there. It's just what we do," he said of his relationship with McCartney.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Starr continues to tour with his All-Starr Band, connecting with audiences across the country. His unwavering dedication to both music and spreading peace is a testament to his enduring spirit.
