Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu has spoken out against the handling of the bronze medal controversy at the Paris Olympics, expressing disappointment with the situation and calling for mutual respect among athletes.
Barbosu's statement came after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) ordered American Jordan Chiles to return her bronze medal, which would elevate Barbosu to the podium. However, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) has since appealed the decision and claims to have evidence that the inquiry into Chiles' score was made within the time frame.
