Rory Feek's daughter Heidi has taken legal action, accusing her father of putting her youngest sister, Indiana, in "harms way." Heidi alleges that Rory has banned communication between the sisters and expresses concern about Indiana's well-being.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Heidi Feek, the daughter of country singer Rory Feek, has expressed her deep concerns about her father's parenting of her youngest sister, Indiana, and has revealed that she has decided to take legal action.
Heidi and her older sister, Hopie, believe that Indiana's well-being is at risk due to Rory's actions. They allege that he has banned communication between the sisters, leaving them unable to contact their younger sibling.

"This is a devastating change for her, because we've been in her life since the day she was born," Heidi told People. "She's even come to stay with us once a month for most of her life."
Rory Feek has denied these allegations, claiming in a blog post that Indiana is happy and well-cared for. However, Heidi insists that her concerns are real and that she believes her father is putting Indiana's well-being in jeopardy.

The sisters' concerns stem from a series of events that have occurred over the past few years. According to Heidi, Rory has gradually restricted their contact with Indiana, first by banning FaceTime calls and then by prohibiting overnight visits.
"We supported his decision because we could still talk to her on the phone and she continued to visit us in Alabama," Heidi said. "But things got concerning when Rory began canceling her visits to Alabama without rescheduling. Eventually, he said she wasn't allowed to do overnight visits anymore, with no explanation."

Heidi and Hopie's worries escalated when Rory allegedly stopped responding to their text messages and refused to let them speak to Indiana on the phone.
"Now, he doesn't let us talk to her on the phone and won't respond to my texts," Heidi said.
In his blog post, Rory admitted that he has restricted Indiana's contact with her sisters, but he claims that this is in her best interests. He argues that Heidi and Hopie have different "worldviews" than him and that he does not want to expose Indiana to their beliefs.
"I know what Joey would want, and I am standing firmly on not compromising the values and principles that are important to me to raise Indy with," Rory wrote.
However, Heidi believes that Rory is using his different beliefs as an excuse to isolate Indiana from her. She claims that she and Hopie have never tried to impose their beliefs on their younger sister and that they simply want to maintain a relationship with her.
"We love our little sister Indiana more than anything in the world. So we are taking action," Heidi wrote on Instagram.
The sisters have not specified what legal action they are taking, but it is likely that they are seeking some form of court order that would force Rory to allow them to contact Indiana.
The situation is a complex and heartbreaking one, and it is clear that both sides are deeply concerned about Indiana's well-being. It is hoped that a resolution can be reached that will allow all the sisters to maintain a close and loving relationship with each other.
