A video of the incident, which was shared on social media, captures McCreery confronting the man from the stage. "That's a lady you just hit, sir!" McCreery exclaimed. "Absolutely not. Who just hit the lady?"
The singer then called for police and security to intervene, expressing concern for the victim's well-being. "Is she OK? Get the heck out of here," he said as the crowd began booing at the man, who could not be seen in the footage.

McCreery continued to address the crowd, expressing his disbelief at the incident. "On God's green earth, at a Scotty McCreery show?" he asked, referring to the fact that his music typically promotes family values and respect for others.
The video also shows images of McCreery's wife, Gabi, flashing on the wall behind him as he sings "It Matters to Her," a song inspired by their relationship. The TikTok user who posted the video wrote in the caption, "Can't get away with that at a country concert. Scotty is the goat for making sure everything was ok!"
