Fox News host Sean Hannity has slammed Vice President Kamala Harris's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, calling it one of the "worst moments in American history."

Fox News host Sean Hannity has launched a scathing attack on Vice President Kamala Harris's leadership, particularly her role in the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan. Hannity, who has been a vocal critic of the Biden administration, accused Harris of trying to "reset" her image and distance herself from the disastrous events in Afghanistan.

"Kamala is, in fact, 'burdened by what has been,' and that is the worst administration in modern history," Hannity said on his show, "Hannity." "She wants a reset: 'I haven't been here for four years. Don't blame me.'"

Hannity's comments come as Harris has faced increasing scrutiny over her handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal. As president of the Senate, Harris presided over the confirmation of General Lloyd Austin as Secretary of Defense, who was ultimately responsible for carrying out the withdrawal. Harris has also been criticized for her lack of public appearances and media interviews since becoming vice president.

Hannity argued that Harris cannot escape responsibility for the Afghanistan debacle, as she was "the last person in the room" with President Biden when he made the decision to withdraw troops.

"Thirteen U.S. service members murdered, along with hundreds of others. Americans abandoned behind enemy lines. Our allies, that helped us for 20 years, many of them were taken from their homes, never to be seen or heard from again," Hannity said. "This was one of the worst moments in American history."

Hannity also accused Harris of ignoring the plight of Americans and Afghan allies who were left behind after the withdrawal.

"Where was Kamala on the issue of Americans left behind?" Hannity asked. "Where was she on the issue of Afghan allies left behind? She was nowhere to be found."

Hannity's criticisms echo those of other Republican lawmakers, who have accused Biden and Harris of mishandling the Afghanistan withdrawal. Some Republicans have even called for Harris to be impeached for her role in the debacle.

Harris has defended her handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, arguing that the Biden administration did the best it could under difficult circumstances. She has also said that she is proud of the work she has done as vice president, including her efforts to address the root causes of migration from Central America.

However, Hannity's criticisms are likely to resonate with many Republicans, who view Harris as a vulnerable target in the 2024 presidential election. If Harris decides to run for president, she will likely face further scrutiny over her role in the Afghanistan withdrawal.
