Despite the viral video, Hull maintains that she smokes and doesn't drink much. "I was a bit stressed last year and I just kind of vaped," she explained. "And I wanted to stop vaping, and even though smoking is not better than vaping, it's just you can vape indoors all the time. I thought if I smoke, I'm going to go outside and smoke a cigarette."

Although Hull didn't win the first major of her career at the U.S. Women's Open, she quickly became a fan favorite. This tournament will likely leave a lasting memory for everyone involved, thanks to the viral video that garnered her both attention and an unexpected fan encounter.
