A Spirit Airlines flight from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Boston ended abruptly with two passengers brawling in the aisle, shocking fellow passengers who witnessed the chaotic scene. The incident occurred on May 7th, shortly after the plane touched down at Logan International Airport.

Video footage captured by Nicole Grome, who was traveling with her parents, shows the two unidentified men throwing punches at each other while a flight attendant desperately attempts to intervene. The flight attendant can be heard repeatedly shouting, "Stop, stop, stop," as the fight escalates.

"Next thing you know they were throwing it down right in front of us," Nicole Grome recounted to Boston 25. "I could have touched his arm." The video shows the flight attendant shielding herself with her arms as the punches fly, while other passengers appear stunned and horrified.

As the fight continues, a flight attendant over the intercom urges passengers who are not involved to disembark the aircraft. "If you're not part of that fight, please get off the airplane!" she can be heard saying.

According to Laura Grome, Nicole's mother, the altercation had been building throughout the two-hour flight, with the unidentified men shouting at each other. However, the situation became physical only after the plane landed. "We were on the runway, and it turned physical," Laura said. "You just don’t know what’s going to happen and what may or may not be used as a weapon."

Nicole Grome praised the flight attendant for her courageous efforts to calm down the passengers. "That poor flight attendant. She was doing her best," Grome said. "She’s putting herself in a dangerous situation to protect everyone else on the flight."

Allen Grome, Nicole's father, expressed his concern about the recent decline in civility during air travel. "Flying is not like it used to be," he said. "I want to give a shout-out to the flight attendants. They went out of their way to deescalate the situation," Allen added.

Spirit Airlines has confirmed that the two men involved in the incident have been placed on the airline's no-fly list. "We do not tolerate disruptive behavior of any kind, and the passengers involved are no longer welcome on any of our flights," a spokesperson said.

Massachusetts State Police Trooper Brandon Doherty reported that authorities arrived at Logan International Airport and located the two men after they had cleared the security checkpoint. Doherty added that no charges were pressed following the incident as the victim did not wish to pursue any legal action.

The incident highlights the growing issue of disruptive behavior on airplanes, raising concerns about the safety and well-being of passengers and crew.
