Actor Zachary Quinto has been called out for his "entitled child" behavior at a Toronto restaurant, with the establishment taking to social media to express their dismay.
"Star Trek" actor Zachary Quinto has been slammed by a Toronto restaurant for his alleged entitled behavior.
Manita, a restaurant located on Ossington Ave, took to Instagram on Sunday to call out Quinto, referencing his role as Spock in the "Star Trek" franchise.
"Zachary Quinto - an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer," the statement began.
The restaurant claimed that Quinto "yelled at staff" after not receiving a reply to two text messages informing him that his table was ready.
They also accused Quinto of refusing to believe that empty tables in the dining room were unavailable despite being informed otherwise.
The statement went on to say that Quinto "made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable."
"Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita, but you are NOT one of them," the message concluded.
The restaurant doubled down on their statement on Monday, sharing another message on social media.
They emphasized that this was not the first or last time an irate guest had mistreated their staff.
"Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly incredible, friendly, gracious guests … who may give us constructive feedback from time to time," the message said.
They added, "To all the other Zachary Quintos out there, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: We aren’t above criticism, but we are above being demeaned."
Fox News Digital reached out to Quinto's representatives for comment, but no response was received.
Meanwhile, Quinto celebrated his 47th birthday on June 2 and shared his festivities on his Instagram story.
He posted a photo of Canada's Wonderland theme park entrance, thanking the venue for an "incredible birthday adventure."
Quinto also shared a photo of himself with a birthday cake inside a restaurant.
The Toronto restaurant's accusations against Quinto have sparked a discussion about the treatment of restaurant staff by patrons.
Many social media users have expressed support for the restaurant, condemning Quinto's alleged behavior.
However, some have also come to Quinto's defense, suggesting that there may be more to the story than meets the eye.
The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of treating service industry workers with respect and understanding.
