"I've learned so much, and I know that we can prevent lives [from being lost to gun violence]," Kerr said. "President Biden is adamant that he's going to push for commonsense laws that can do that. I know that [former] President Trump will not do that. So, it's really a simple choice for me."

Kerr emphasized that his decision to support Biden is based on a single issue: gun safety. He urged voters to consider their conscience when casting their ballots and to vote in favor of candidates who are committed to addressing this critical issue.

"I'm voting for Joe Biden, but I think the biggest thing for me, everybody needs to vote their conscious," he said. "I'm voting on a few issues, but this is the main one."

Kerr stressed the importance of implementing commonsense gun laws, such as universal background checks, which are supported by the vast majority of Americans. He believes these laws can save lives and protect children from the trauma of mass shooting drills.

"President Biden is willing to do the work to try to get those changes," Kerr said.
