Stormy Daniels' husband, Barrett Blade, has revealed that the couple is considering leaving the United States if former President Donald Trump is found not guilty in the landmark NY v. Trump case.

During an appearance on CNN, Blade said, "If Trump is found not guilty… I don’t think it gets better for her, you know? I think if it’s not guilty, we got to decide what to do. Good chance we’ll probably vacate this country."

Prosecutors in the case allege that Daniels was paid $130,000 to keep quiet about her claims of an alleged extramarital sexual encounter with Trump, which he has long denied. Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which revolve around the alleged falsification of business records related to the payment.

Blade expressed concern that even if Trump is found guilty, Daniels would still face harassment from the former president's supporters. "If he is found guilty, then she’s still going to have to deal with all the hate," he said. "I don’t see it as a win situation either way."

The couple's decision to leave the U.S. depends on the outcome of the trial, as Blade explained: "We would like to get on with our lives… she wants to move past this."

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, took the stand last week in the trial and gave a detailed account of her alleged sexual encounter with Trump in a Lake Tahoe hotel room in 2006.

Daniels' testimony has been described as fast-paced and often went beyond answering specific questions posed to her. In response, Judge Juan Merchan instructed prosecutors to limit the witness's "unnecessary" details.

The possibility of celebrities leaving the U.S. over political disagreements has been raised in the past, but few A-listers have actually followed through. Actors such as Chelsea Handler, Snoop Dogg, Miley Cyrus, Samuel L. Jackson, Barbra Streisand, and Bryan Cranston have all made threats to leave but have remained in the country.

However, "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg recently stated that she had no intention of leaving the country, despite Trump mocking her previous remarks about fleeing if he was elected in 2016.
