Ted Cruz Blames Anti-Israel Protests on "Cultural Marxism

Senator Ted Cruz condemns the anti-Israel protests outside his home and across the country, labeling them as a result of "cultural Marxism" that has permeated universities. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has vehemently condemned the ongoing anti-Israel protests outside his Houston home and on college campuses nationwide, attributing them to the spread of "cultural Marxism" within academia.

The senator's residence has been targeted by 14 protests since February, allegedly orchestrated by agitators connected to the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) group. Cruz's office maintains that the senator remains steadfast in his support for Israel and unfazed by the protesters' harassment.

"Senator Cruz will continue to stand with Israel and support Israel's right to defend itself and utterly eradicate Hamas. No amount of harassment or intimidation by terrorist supporters will change that," a spokesman declared.

Student activists have infiltrated college campuses across the country, including Columbia University, where protesters have occupied buildings. Schools like UCLA, Harvard, and Yale are struggling to dismantle student encampments demanding complete divestment from Israel.

These protests follow Hamas' launch of war on Israel in October, which ignited anti-Semitic incidents on campuses. Jewish students have reported feeling unsafe and vulnerable amidst the escalating tensions.

The protests are linked to groups backed by far-left organizations and liberal mega-donor George Soros. NSJP has been a prominent presence on university campuses, comparing Israel's treatment of Palestinians to Nazi Germany and accusing Israel of genocide.

NSJP celebrated Hamas' initial attack on Israel, labeling it as a victory for the Palestinian resistance. The group operates under a fiscal sponsor funded by Soros' network.

Law enforcement has confirmed Cruz's knowledge that the protesters outside his home are affiliated with Students for Justice in Palestine. The Houston Police Department has responded to multiple assemblies outside the senator's residence but cannot publicly identify specific groups involved.

One protester was apprehended on Friday evening after a two-hour protest marked by cowbell-clanging and yelling. Cruz expressed outrage over the incident, highlighting the sickness that has taken over universities.

"This is America in 2024, and this is a result of cultural Marxism that has infiltrated and seized control of faculty and administration," Cruz stated.

The senator decried the silence of President Biden, the Attorney General, the FBI, and the New York Governor amidst the escalating protests.

Cruz's comments echo his previous criticism of protesters outside his home, which he views as a result of "bigotry" and AIPAC funding.

"The point is to show that he does have constituents that don't align with his very bigoted views ... We don't support him being AIPAC-funded and his allegiance to a foreign government," a regular protester stated.

As the protests continue, Cruz remains unwavering in his support for Israel and denounces the violence and intimidation tactics of the protesters. The senator's office emphasizes his determination to stand with Israel and protect the safety of Jewish students.
