"I won't be too specific, but I didn't really grow up emotionally until I was in my 40s, and I was a bit of a liar in my relationship," Danson said. "I'll leave it at that."

Danson added that he had "worked very hard to not be that person who hid his emotions and left out the back door."

Danson's comments come after he previously said that he would be open to a 'Cheers' reunion if the timing was right.

"I think it'd be fun, but I don't know if it would happen," Danson said in 2020. "We're all getting older, and we're all doing different things."

However, Danson now says that he has second thoughts about a reunion.

"I think it might be a little sad," Danson said. "I think it would be great to see everybody again, but I don't know if it would be the same."

Danson also said that he is happy with his life now and doesn't want to look back.

"I'm in a good place now," Danson said. "I'm married to a wonderful woman, and I have a great family. I'm not looking to change anything."

In recent years, there have been several rumors of a 'Cheers' reunion, but nothing has ever come to fruition.

Danson's comments suggest that a reunion is now even less likely than before. However, fans of the show can still hope that one day they will get to see Sam Malone and the rest of the gang back on the small screen.
