The Houston Texans pulled off a dramatic 23-20 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, as Ka'imi Fairbairn booted a 59-yard field goal as time expired. The win marked the Texans' fourth consecutive victory and solidified their position as a potential playoff contender in the AFC South.
The Texans got off to a strong start, with C.J. Stroud connecting with Nico Collins for a 67-yard touchdown pass on Houston's second drive of the game. Cam Akers added a 15-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give the Texans a 14-0 lead.

Allen found Keon Coleman for a 49-yard touchdown pass to bring the Bills within three points at 20-17. The Texans' offense stalled in the second half, but Fairbairn connected on a 47-yard field goal to extend their lead to 23-17.

With just 16 seconds remaining in the game, the Bills took possession at their own 3-yard line. Allen led the Bills down the field, but a pass to Stefon Diggs was intercepted by Texans' cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. with just seconds remaining.
The Texans took over possession at their own 46-yard line with 16 seconds left. Running back Dare Ogunbowale picked up five yards, setting up Fairbairn's 59-yard field goal that capped the hard-fought victory.

Stroud finished the game with 331 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Collins led the Texans receivers with 82 receiving yards on six catches.
For the Bills, Allen completed just 9 of 30 passes for 131 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. James Cook led the Bills rushers with 82 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown.
The Texans' victory was their first over the Bills since 2018. The Bills, who entered the game as a heavy favorite, fell to 3-2 on the season.
The Texans will host the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday, while the Bills will face the Kansas City Chiefs in a pivotal AFC East matchup.
