Fox News host Jesse Watters called the Democrats' ticket featuring Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz the most radical yet, criticizing their policies and questioning their authenticity.
Fox News host Jesse Watters has slammed the Democrats' presidential ticket featuring Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, calling it the most radical yet and questioning their authenticity.
In his opening monologue on "Jesse Watters Primetime," Watters launched into a tirade against the two politicians, accusing them of being out of touch with ordinary Americans.
The Democrats' Radical Ticket: Kamala Harris and Tim Walz
"Democrats must be losing this election by a landslide because they're trying to brainwash you into believing their ticket is Jackie Onassis and John Wayne," Watters quipped.
He particularly criticized the New York Times for its glowing coverage of Harris, which he described as "slobbering" and "uncomfortable."
"The last time the Times slobbered over a politician this blatantly, Chris Matthews got a thrill up his leg," Watters said, referring to the former MSNBC host's infamous on-air comment about being turned on by watching then-Sen. Elizabeth Warren speak.
Watters also took aim at Walz, who has been touted by some as a moderate voice in the Democratic Party.
"As of 48 hours ago, they hated Middle America, avoided it like the Ebola virus and mocked it as an ignorant back country," Watters said. "They're now praising the old white man from Minnesota as a relatable, blue-collar family guy with a folksy charm."
Watters accused Harris of choosing Walz as her running mate because she found out her husband, Doug Emhoff, had gotten their nanny pregnant.
"Kamala picked a lying weirdo to be vice president after she found out her husband, Doug, got the nanny pregnant, and they're using Girl Scouts as human shields," Watters said.
He went on to criticize the media for its coverage of the Democratic ticket, accusing them of a "91-day cover-up operation to get them out of the mess they're in."
"They didn't earn the nomination, stole the president's war chest by waltzing around the country with a Chinese cutout who lied about serving in Iraq, while the media calls them joyful, jolly old, middle of the road patriots," Watters said.
He concluded by calling the Democratic campaign "the stupidest campaign I've ever seen."
"It's not even a real campaign. It's like they're ‘pretending the campaign’," Watters said.
Watters' comments reflect the growing divide between the Republican and Democratic parties in the United States, with each side accusing the other of being out of touch with reality.
The Democrats are hoping to capitalize on President Donald Trump's unpopularity to win back the White House and control of the Senate, while the Republicans are seeking to retain the presidency and gain control of the House of Representatives.
The election is expected to be close, and the outcome could have a significant impact on the future of American politics.
