Travis and Jason Kelce, the renowned NFL brothers, recently shared their contrasting reactions to the much-discussed Netflix roast of Tom Brady, "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady."

Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, expressed his admiration for the special, calling it "unbelievable." He particularly appreciated the "star-studded" lineup and the willingness of Brady's friends and peers to poke fun at him.

"I had been in tears the whole day just watching the clips and everything," Travis said on the latest episode of the "New Heights" podcast, which he hosts with Jason.

Jason, on the other hand, was less enthusiastic about the concept of roasts. When a fan asked if they would consider submitting to a roast themselves, Jason responded with a mixture of hesitation and amusement.

"It was pure entertainment, and I'm really happy they did it, but I just don't get the roasts," Jason said. "I don't know why people do it. Maybe I take myself too seriously. ... It was star-studded. The best part about it was how many just iconic NFL and celebrities of immense stature that were there."

Despite his reservations, Jason acknowledged the entertainment value of the roast, particularly the involvement of Brady's former teammates from the New England Patriots dynasty.

"Not to mention the entire Patriots dynasty showing up for Tom," Jason said. "That being said, I really don't fucking get it. I don't get why people do roasts. I don't get why they are a thing."

Travis applauded Brady for his good humor throughout the three-hour roast, which covered everything from his marriage to Gisele Bündchen to the deflategate scandal and his failed cryptocurrency investment.

"I commend everybody because no one seemed to get their feelings hurt," Travis said. "It seems like everyone was having fun with it. But, at the same time, that shit had me rolling because of how at everybody's neck people were going."

Jason joked that he would be willing to do a roast if he was offered a substantial amount of money. However, he excluded his wife, Kylie, from the potential roasters.

"I take it back. I'll do a roast," Jason said. "What'd you guys pay Tom? The one person I wouldn't allow on the stage is Kylie. She knows too much. ... Every day I am getting roasted by Kylie."

Travis and Jason's contrasting reactions to the Brady roast highlight the different perspectives on the purpose and acceptability of such events. While some find them entertaining and a celebration of camaraderie, others question their value and potential for causing hurt feelings.
