Fox News host Jesse Watters analyzes the growing political uprising in the nation, which is reflected in the polls showing former President Trump leading President Biden in the 2024 election.

The Political Uprising: Populism Rising Against the Elites

Fox News host Jesse Watters has observed a "political uprising" occurring nationwide, fueled by a growing resentment towards a class of elites who have dismissed and ignored the concerns of ordinary citizens. This uprising is evident in the polls, with former President Trump currently leading President Biden in potential matchups for the 2024 election.

Watters, speaking on "Jesse Watters Primetime," explained that the elites are horrified and threatened by the rise of populism, which they view as a threat to their power. They refuse to engage in debates with populists and instead seek to discredit and criminalize them.

The Political Uprising: Populism Rising Against the Elites

"They're so disgusted and threatened by populism they don't even dare debate it," Watters said. "It's to be exterminated from the political landscape. Populism must be criminalized."

This fear of populism has led to the use of the judicial system to suppress Trump, the face of the populist movement. The elites seek to prevent Trump from connecting with the masses, fearing that his influence could fuel the political uprising even further.

"That's why they're using the judicial system to stuff Trump in a refrigerator, keep him on ice before they try to throw him in jail," Watters said.

The disconnect between the elites and the common people was highlighted by Trump's planned rally in the Bronx, the district of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). Ocasio-Cortez has admitted that the legal challenges against Trump are meant to keep him away from the public because his connection to the people is too strong.

"AOC admitted lawfare as an ankle bracelet to keep Trump away from 'normies,'" Watters said. "There's no way AOC could get anywhere near the crowd Trump could get in the Bronx, and that's her district. She's humiliated that the Bronx wants him there, and he wants to be in the Bronx."

According to author and sociologist Martin Gurri, the elites are "sensing impending danger" from the growing populist movement. Their aggressive moralizing, embrace of bizarre ideologies, and trampling of norms are all signs of panic.

"Democrats have lost the normie vote," Watters said. "All they have is scare tactics."

The political uprising is a reflection of the growing dissatisfaction with the status quo among ordinary Americans. The elites, once unchallenged, are now facing a formidable challenge from a populist movement that demands their voices be heard. The outcome of this struggle will shape the future of American politics.
