Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry have been named Tom Brady's 3 Stars of Week 3 of the NFL regular season.
Week 3 of the NFL regular season has come and gone, and it was a doozy. From stunning upsets to record-breaking performances, there was no shortage of excitement on the gridiron. And now, FOX Sports lead NFL analyst Tom Brady has named his 3 Stars of the Week, honoring the players who stood out from the crowd.
In a hard-fought battle against the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Barkley carried the ball 17 times for an impressive 147 yards, averaging 8.6 yards per carry. He also added two rushing touchdowns and caught four passes for 9 receiving yards.

Brady praised Barkley's performance, saying, "The Eagles won a tight game in the Superdome against a team in the Saints that was on fire. He touched the ball a bunch — 8.6 [yards] a carry, two fourth-quarter TDs. Saquon's looking pretty good in those Eagles colors. I've got them this Sunday in Tampa, and I can't wait to see what's next."
Making his Monday Night Football debut, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels turned in a performance that has the league buzzing. Daniels completed 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns, with an incredible 91.3% completion rate. He also added 39 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown on 12 carries.
Brady was blown away by Daniels' performance, saying, "Welcome to Monday Night Football, young man. What a performance. Three total touchdowns. This is crazy — he had more touchdowns than incompletions — only two all game. A 91% completion [rate], incredible. He was the No. 2 overall pick for a reason. He's got the league on notice, and Washington is off to a 2-1 start."
Last but not least, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry proved once again why he's one of the most dominant forces in the NFL. Henry rushed for 151 yards on 25 carries, averaging 6.0 yards per carry. He also added two rushing touchdowns and caught one pass for 23 receiving yards.
Brady was impressed with Henry's performance, saying, "Last, but certainly not the least. He was also my LFG Player of the Game. Every time I watch this guy, I feel bad for the defense. He had 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Ravens signed him in the offseason for games like this. He and Lamar [Jackson] were so comfortable back there together in the shotgun, working their magic. I don't want to be a defensive coordinator in this league trying to figure out this Ravens offense."
Congratulations to Saquon Barkley, Jayden Daniels and Derrick Henry on being named Tom Brady's 3 Stars of Week 3!
