The Netflix roast, titled "GROAT The Greatest Roast Of All Time: Tom Brady," took aim at Brady's personal life, including his children and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. The jokes apparently resonated deeply with those closest to the retired quarterback.

A source informed People magazine that Brady's children with Bündchen, Benjamin and Vivian, have been affected by the special. Bündchen herself is reportedly "deeply disappointed" with the "disrespectful portrayal" of her family.

Many of the jokes involving Bündchen revolved around her relationship with jujitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Host Kevin Hart opened the roast by mocking Brady for leaving former coach Bill Belichick for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, comparing it to Bündchen's alleged infidelity.

"You f---ed your coach, but let me tell you something, people, that's what you do to maintain your happiness. You sometimes got to f--- your coach. You know who else f----- their coach? Gisele. She f----- that karate man," Hart quipped.

The roast also featured jokes about Brady's intelligence, with Hart questioning why he would participate in such an event.

"I mean, Jesus Christ, Tom," Hart exclaimed. "One of the smartest quarterbacks to ever play the game; how did you not see this coming? Eight karate classes a day, and she's still a white belt."

The Netflix roast has sparked discussions about the boundaries of comedy and the potential impact on individuals and their families. While some viewers found the roast highly entertaining, others expressed concern about the lack of consideration for Brady's personal life.

As close friends continue to offer support to Brady, it remains to be seen whether the roast will have any lasting effects on his relationships or reputation.
