Americans for Prosperity Action, the political wing of the Koch conservative network, is launching a $5.75 million ad blitz in swing states to support Republican Senate candidates and attack their Democratic opponents ahead of the November election.
Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action), the political wing of the powerful Koch conservative network, has launched a multimillion-dollar ad campaign targeting vulnerable Democratic senators in key swing states. The move is part of the group's "firewall strategy" to prevent a "One Party Progressive rule" in Washington.
The $5.75 million ad buy will air in Wisconsin, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Republican candidates Tim Sheehy in Montana, Sam Brown in Nevada, Bernie Moreno in Ohio, Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania, and Eric Hovde in Wisconsin will each receive $1.25 million in ads.

The digital ads will also air on TV in these pivotal battleground states. The ads focus on the Democrats' support for the Inflation Reduction Act, which AFP Action claims has failed to reduce inflation and has made life worse for Americans.
In one Wisconsin ad, residents express their frustration with Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), highlighting the rising cost of living and accusing her of betraying her constituents by supporting the Inflation Reduction Act.

AFP Action Director Nathan Nascimento criticized the incumbent senators, saying, "Voters are tired of Washington doubling down on failed policy and then handing them the bill. The pain is very real for Americans still deciding who to vote for in November, but when you look at their record, it’s very clear that senators Brown, Baldwin, Casey, Rosen, and Tester can’t be trusted to vote the right way when it comes to reducing inflationary spending or securing the border."
Nascimento added, "Any one of these senators were the deciding vote to push the Biden-Harris administration’s massive influx of spending forward, forcing inflation into overdrive – and every single one put their party ahead of their constituents."

Democratic campaigns for Tester, Baldwin, and Rosen have not yet provided comment to Fox News Digital. However, spokesperson Maddy McDaniel for Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey (D-Pa.) defended his record, stating that Casey "lowered the cost of insulin and is leading the charge against corporate greed and greedflation."
In contrast, AFP Action's ads promote the Republican candidates, presenting them as better solutions for struggling families. The group claims to have reached more than 7.5 million voters to date in the 2024 election cycle.

The ad campaign is a significant investment by a top conservative group and is likely to have a major impact on the upcoming Senate races in these key states. AFP Action's "firewall strategy" aims to prevent a Democratic majority in the Senate and to advance a conservative agenda in Washington.
