As Tori Spelling navigates the complexities of her divorce, she is also grappling with the financial implications of putting five children through college. In a recent episode of her podcast, Spelling admitted to considering joining OnlyFans, a platform primarily known for adult content, as a way to generate income.

"I'm gonna have to go on OnlyFans," Spelling told guest William Shatner. "I gotta pay for college."

Shatner, unfamiliar with OnlyFans, expressed confusion about its nature. Spelling explained that the platform initially catered to non-sex workers but has since expanded to include actresses and other content creators who charge subscribers for access to exclusive content.

"It's videos, and people pay," Spelling said. "But a lot of actresses do it now, and they show things."

Spelling further elaborated that subscribers can pay for access to revealing content, including the option to view uncensored nudity.

"If you're in a bikini or something revealing, people can subscribe and pay more to get a shot of you with your breasts showing, if you choose," she explained. "You can pay via credit card, Cash App, PayPal. Everything showing."

Spelling shares five children with McDermott: Liam, 17; Stella, 15; Hattie, 12; Finn, 11; and Beau, 7. The couple's divorce proceedings are ongoing, and Spelling has requested full custody of the children.

The actress has also filed a request for spousal support and has asked to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to McDermott.

In addition to her divorce-related financial woes, Spelling and McDermott are facing legal action over unpaid debts. City National Bank is still attempting to collect more than $400,000 from the couple in a breach of contract suit filed in 2016.

McDermott first publicly announced the couple's separation on Instagram in June 2023 but quickly deleted the post.

"It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own," he wrote at the time.

Spelling and McDermott met in 2005 while filming "Mind Over Matter." They were both married to other people at the time but later began an affair.

"It was love at first sight," Spelling wrote in her 2009 memoir, "sTORI Telling." "But: Dean and I went to a bar after dinner. And we spent the night at the Cartier Place."

Spelling filed for divorce in March 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce proceedings are ongoing, and the couple is expected to reach a final settlement in the coming months.
