TMZ Sports obtained photos showing the mangled remains of the maroon Dodge Charger that Jackson was riding in as a passenger.

The rear of the car is flattened as it sits on the back of a tow truck, while another image reveals the vehicle's interior lying outside, detached from the rest of the body. The Maryland State Police are conducting an investigation into the fatal crash, which occurred in Upper Marlboro shortly after 3:14 a.m. on Saturday. According to police, three vehicles were involved in the collision: the Dodge Charger, a silver Infiniti Q50, and a Chevy Impala.
Initial findings indicate that the driver of the Infiniti Q50, identified as 23-year-old Cori Clingman, attempted to change lanes at a "high rate of speed" when she struck the Dodge Charger. The Charger then swerved off the right side of the road and struck multiple tree stumps before coming to a stop.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities discovered that Jackson and the driver of the Charger, Isaiah Hazel, 23, were pronounced dead. Anthony Lytton Jr., 24, the third occupant of the Charger, was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
Clingman and two passengers in her vehicle were uninjured. The driver of the Chevy Impala refused medical attention at the scene.

ESPN reported that both Hazel and Lytton had played college football. Hazel attended the University of Maryland and Charlotte, while Lytton played for Florida State and Penn State.
The car accident has sent shockwaves through the community, and tributes have poured in for Jackson and his teammates. The University of Oregon, where Jackson played college football, released a statement expressing their sadness and extending condolences to his family.
