Former Trump administration official Rabbi Aryeh Lightstone expressed outrage over Vice President Kamala Harris' decision to skip Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's congressional address.

Former Trump official Rabbi Aryeh Lightstone joined 'Fox & Friends First' to voice his strong disapproval of the decision by President Biden and Vice President Harris to snub Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his impending visit to the United States.

Lightstone, who served in the Trump administration, condemned the lack of leadership in America, particularly in handling diplomacy with a key ally. He emphasized the significance of Netanyahu's visit and the need for robust engagement between the two nations.

Netanyahu is scheduled to first visit Washington D.C., where he will address Congress on Wednesday and meet with President Biden on Thursday for a bilateral meeting. He is expected to join Biden later to meet with the families of Americans held hostage by Hamas.

The Prime Minister's visit comes amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas after the terrorist attack on Oct. 7, 2023. Former President Trump expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, highlighting his commitment to peace and stability in the region.

Trump credited his administration for achieving peace and stability during his first term, including the historic Abraham Accords. He emphasized the need for a "PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH" agenda to end violent conflicts worldwide.

Trump added that millions are dying, and Kamala Harris is incapable of stopping it. Netanyahu had requested to meet with Trump, reflecting the close relationship between the two leaders.

In 2018, the Trump administration made significant diplomatic moves, including moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and recognizing Israeli sovereignty over Golan Heights. Trump also withdrew the U.S. from the U.N. Human Rights Council and brokered the Abraham Accords.

The Abraham Accords, a historic peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, normalized relations and created bilateral agreements in various areas. Netanyahu will address Congress on Wednesday, following an invitation by bipartisan leaders of both the House and the Senate.

However, Vice President Kamala Harris has declined to preside over his address, opting to attend a previously scheduled event in Indiana. Harris, who is now the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, will not attend Netanyahu's address, a move that has raised eyebrows.

The snub has drawn criticism from both sides of the political aisle, with many expressing concern over the implications for U.S.-Israeli relations.
