Former President Trump wasted no time in resuming his campaign with a barrage of verbal assaults on his projected rival, Vice President Kamala Harris. However, supporters attending his North Carolina rally faced a perplexing situation when their vehicles vanished from the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot where they had reportedly secured permission to park.
Former President Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, made his first public appearance since President Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 race and the assassination attempt on Trump at a campaign rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his speech, Trump launched a tirade against Vice President Kamala Harris, portraying her as even more liberal than Senator Bernie Sanders.
"Kamala Harris is a puppet of the far left," Trump proclaimed. "She's more socialist than Sanders, and her policies would destroy our country."

Trump's rhetoric marked a significant departure from his relatively tame tone during his remarks announcing his candidacy. He characterized Harris as a "radical" and accused her of "turning a blind eye to the crisis at our southern border."
The rally also witnessed an unusual incident that left supporters in disbelief. Dozens of Trump supporters found their vehicles towed from the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot where they had been instructed they could park. When questioned, drivers claimed the manager had given them permission, but the store denied any knowledge or authorization.

To make matters worse, the towing company charged a hefty $380 fee for releasing the vehicles. "This is outrageous," exclaimed one attendee. "I've never seen anything like this before."
Security concerns intensified after Trump's appearance at the rally. The Secret Service has reportedly advised against further outdoor rallies for the former president in the wake of the assassination attempt.

Gotcha Towing & Recovery, the towing company involved, declined to comment to Fox News Digital. Dunkin' was also contacted for comment but did not respond before publication.
