Former President Donald Trump has taken to social media to mock former Attorney General William Barr, despite Barr's recent endorsement of Trump's presidential bid.
In a post on his proprietary social media service, Truth Social, Trump wrote: "Wow! Former A.G. Bill Barr, who let a lot of great people down by not investigating Voter Fraud in our Country, has just Endorsed me for President despite the fact that I called him 'Weak, Slow Moving, Lethargic, Gutless, and Lazy,'".

Trump continued: "Based on the fact that I greatly appreciate his wholehearted Endorsement, I am removing the word 'Lethargic' from my statement. Thank you Bill. MAGA2024!"
The former president's post comes after Barr endorsed Trump for president earlier this month. However, Barr also criticized Trump in the past, calling him "weak, slow moving, lethargic, gutless, and lazy."

In his Truth Social post, Trump acknowledged Barr's endorsement and thanked him for it. He also removed the word "lethargic" from his previous criticism of Barr.
The relationship between Trump and Barr has been tumultuous. Barr was appointed as Attorney General by Trump in 2019. However, he resigned in December 2020 after clashing with Trump over the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Barr has since criticized Trump, saying that he believes Trump has "become detached from reality" since leaving office.
Despite their differences, Barr endorsed Trump for president earlier this month. He said that he believes Trump is the best candidate to lead the Republican Party.
Trump's mocking of Barr on social media shows that there is still some tension between the two men. However, it also suggests that Trump is willing to overlook past differences for the sake of political expediency.
It remains to be seen whether Trump's mockery of Barr will damage his relationship with the former Attorney General. However, it is clear that Trump is not afraid to criticize even those who have endorsed him.
In a separate interview, Barr criticized New York prosecutors for their ongoing case against Trump, calling it "obviously political." He said that the case is a sign of the excesses of the progressive left.
Barr also said that he will vote for Trump in the upcoming presidential election. He said that he believes Trump is the best candidate to lead the Republican Party.
