Former President Trump gives his thoughts on his performance at the ABC News Presidential Debate, claiming it was his "best debate ever." Trump also comments on Vice President Harris' performance and the possibility of a second debate.

Former President Donald Trump expressed satisfaction with his performance at the recent ABC News Presidential Debate, saying he believes it was his "best debate ever." Speaking to "Hannity" host Sean Hannity late Tuesday night, Trump said, "I thought it was really good. We had three against one, but I anticipated it," referring to debate moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis.

Trump's comments come amidst criticism that the moderators were overly aggressive in fact-checking and challenging his answers. In response to a question about abortion, Trump claimed that some states allow the procedure in the ninth month of pregnancy. Davis interjected, stating that there is no such state where it is legal to kill a baby after birth.

Trump also addressed reports that Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is seeking a second debate in October. "She wants it because she lost," Trump said. "I don't know. I have to think about it. But if you won the debate, I sort of think maybe I shouldn't do it. Why should I do another debate? She immediately said we want another debate. That's... you know what happens when you're a prizefighter, and you lose? You immediately want a new fight."

When asked by Hannity if he would be inclined to participate in a second debate, Trump replied, "Maybe if it was on a fair network, I would do that."

Trump criticized Harris' debate performance, saying that she "memorized lines more or less" rather than engaging in genuine discussion. "I always say I've been preparing all my life for these debates. You know, you can't go in like she did, she goes into a room, and she memorized lines more or less," he told Hannity.

The former president's comments echo the mixed reactions to both his and Harris' debate performances. Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume said Trump "had a bad night," while former Democratic congressman and "The Five" co-host Harold Ford, Jr. acknowledged that Harris could have provided more specifics in her answers.
