Trump supporters, clad in Trump 2024 attire, American flags, and baseball caps, gathered outside the New York City courtroom where former President Trump's criminal trial is taking place. The atmosphere was one of defiance and anticipation, as the jury deliberated on Trump's guilt in the 34 charges against him.

One man, a bystander outside the courtroom, expressed his disdain for the trial, calling it "damaging to the American legal system for decades to come." He condemned the "political use of the courts," arguing that it harms the country as a whole, regardless of one's political affiliation.

Another supporter, wearing a New York Yankees cap, questioned the media's coverage of the trial. He wondered why the alleged cocaine use in the White House was not being given more attention, suggesting that the trial was being used to distract from other issues.

"Why they ain't making no news about it?" he exclaimed. "It's not about being a racist, you know I was a Democrat for a long time, but I had to research and start seeing things and I started to come to a clear perception and said, ‘Nah, Donald Trump is right.’"

A woman outside the courtroom expressed her support for Trump, calling him a "good president" who loves people. She believed he was being unfairly targeted by Democrats.

"Because he's doing everything for us," she said.

Another man, holding an American flag, accused Democrats of being "desperate" and losing their composure. He predicted that Trump's ratings would rise regardless of the trial's outcome.

"His ratings will go up, we have a Constitution, so sooner or later, whatever at first happens will be overturned, so thank God we're a constitutional republic," he said.

The man acknowledged that a guilty verdict was possible, but that "the consensus seems to be a hung jury."

"It shows that it's fragile," he said of the criminal justice system. "Half the country doesn't realize that we have a constitutional republic, and they think that the quote ‘majority’ should make the laws and that's not the way it works. The Constitution supersedes the majority."

The jury entered deliberations Wednesday afternoon with instructions from the judge. Trump's supporters waited anxiously for the verdict, their hopes pinned on a favorable outcome that would vindicate their beloved leader.
