Former President Donald Trump has hinted that he might not run for office again in 2028 if he loses his current bid for the presidency in November.
Nationally syndicated political reporter Salena Zito delves into the ongoing political battle between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris for the hearts and minds of Pennsylvania voters.
During a recent interview, Trump indicated that he may not seek another presidential term if he falls short in the 2024 election. In a conversation with Sinclair Broadcast Group's "Full Measure" host Sharyl Attkisson, Trump was asked if he would consider running again in four years if unsuccessful in the upcoming election.

"No, I don’t. No, I don’t. I think that that will be, that will be it. I don’t see that at all," the former president responded. "I think that hopefully we’re gonna be successful."
Trump, at 78 years old, is vying for a third presidential run, having defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016 and lost to President Biden in 2020. He now faces Harris in a bid for a second four-year term.

Attkisson inquired about Trump's health habits to which he replied, "I try and eat properly."
However, Trump acknowledged his fondness for "perhaps, all the wrong food."
He went on to say that people had advised him about his dietary choices over the years, but many of them are now deceased.
"And here I am," Trump said. "So, I’m not sure I wanna make too many changes."
