GOP Rep. Darrell Issa outlines what he expects to hear at the Republican National Convention, emphasizing the contrasts between Trump's strong stance and Biden's perceived weakness on foreign affairs.
**Milwaukee, WI** - GOP Representative Darrell Issa has shared his expectations for the upcoming foreign policy speeches at the Republican National Convention, highlighting how he believes a second Trump term will impact the world.
"When I consider Trump's foreign policy, Russia did not make any gains during his tenure, despite seizing Crimea under his predecessor, Obama," said Issa, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Issa elaborated on his observations, highlighting China's restrained aggression towards Taiwan and the Philippines, as well as the diminished activities of the Houthis and Iran. He contrasted these developments with the perceived setbacks under the Biden administration.
"Make America Strong Once Again" is the theme for the third day of the convention, where speakers are expected to outline Trump's foreign policy agenda and criticize Biden's record.

The RNC has released a statement condemning Biden's foreign policy approach, citing the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal, the Hamas-Israeli conflict, and the perceived appeasement of Iran.
"Under President Trump, America will once again be strong and secure and put an end to the Biden-Harris administration's weakness," the RNC stated.

Issa emphasized the importance of projecting strength in foreign policy, highlighting how Trump's demand for NATO members to meet their defense spending commitments has improved their preparedness.

Biden has emphasized his foreign policy experience amidst calls for him to withdraw from the presidential race. However, recent Fox News polling indicates that Trump holds a 10-point lead on foreign policy issues among voters.
