Former Donald Trump campaign spokesperson Lance Trover argues that Trump needs to clearly and effectively define Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris to swing-state voters. This comes amid reports that Hispanic voters in Nevada, a crucial swing state, are considering supporting Trump over Harris due to economic concerns.

In the race for the presidency, former President Donald Trump faces the challenge of swaying swing-state voters to secure victory. One key swing state that Trump needs to capture is Nevada, which has a significant Hispanic population. According to a recent CNN report, Hispanic voters in Nevada are expressing concerns about the economy and considering voting for Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Former Trump campaign spokesperson Lance Trover believes that Trump's path to success in Nevada lies in clearly defining Harris to voters. "Defining Kamala Harris is critical for Trump," Trover argued on Fox News. "It's the swing-state voters who are going to decide this election, and he needs to give them a clear reason to vote for him instead of Harris."

Trover's comments come after a CBS News report revealed that in several restaurants in Nevada, only three Harris supporters were identified. In contrast, many diners expressed excitement about Trump's candidacy.

Rafael Cerros Jr., who runs a radio station in Nevada, said that many Latinos are considering voting for Trump due to economic concerns. "A lot of people are talking about voting for Trump," Cerros said. "The economy is a big reason why."

Another Nevada resident, Zoila Sanchez, acknowledged the high prices but expressed confidence in Harris's ability to address the issue. However, she noted that she had heard many Hispanic voters, particularly male voters, considering supporting Trump.

Retired police officer and bar owner Antonio Munoz indicated a preference for Harris but emphasized the need for more concrete policy details from her campaign. "We need a different plan to get over the hump with this inflation," Munoz said. "She needs to be more direct."

Munoz also observed that several of his friends longed for Trump's pre-COVID economy and suggested that Trump's standing among Hispanics had improved. "He has grown," Munoz said of Trump. "I have friends that were Democrats who have turned the page."

Other experts have also highlighted the importance of Trump defining Harris to voters. Fox News contributor Richard Fowler noted that Harris is a "formidable candidate" and that Trump cannot afford to underestimate her. "Trump needs to be very clear about what he's offering that Harris isn't," Fowler said. "He needs to define her in a way that makes voters believe that she's not the best choice for the country."

As the campaign intensifies, Trump's ability to effectively define Harris and sway swing-state voters in Nevada will play a crucial role in determining his chances of recapturing the presidency.
