According to arrest records from the Wildwood Police Department, the incident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6. Police were called to a home where two women had to be physically separated. Northrup allegedly became "belligerent" during the altercation.

Northrup told police that Danforth got into her face and was spitting. She claimed that while attempting to separate herself, she was grabbed by her hair and pinned down. At this point, punches allegedly began to fly.

Both women admitted to engaging in fisticuffs. Several other people were present during the scuffle, but police were unable to determine who started the argument due to a lack of credible witnesses.

Northrup suffered scratches on her neck, elbow, and stomach and was checked out by EMS at the scene. Danforth was transported to a local hospital as she was "not feeling well."

Both women were arrested and charged with battery. They were booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and have since been released after each posting a $1,000 bond.

The incident serves as a reminder that even seemingly harmless disagreements can escalate into physical altercations. It is important to remain calm and respectful during disputes and to avoid resorting to violence.

In a separate incident, a drunk Florida man was beaten after making fun of a guest with Down syndrome at a Disney World resort bar. The man, who has not been identified, was allegedly harassing the guest and making inappropriate comments. A group of guests intervened and the man was ultimately beaten.

Police were called to the scene and the man was arrested. He faces charges of battery and disorderly conduct.

These incidents highlight the importance of responsible behavior and respect for others, especially in public places.
